The main character Nikki describes her new life in middle school by a funny way. She want to integration into new school, but she isn`t lucky. After ups and downs, she gets a happy ending.

我的观点

I think this book is funny and also interesting because writer use a funny way to write about school life that everyone will have, like main character’s friendship and hers love, hers strange family or even school bullying. This book told me that bullying will heart a person seriously so don’t bully anyone. They didn’t do anything wrong, they are just doing what they want. I also think we can learn many things in school not only Math, but also how to make good friends? You might be bullied at first but there will still be people who want to be friends with you. Main character is a shy person so she will afraid to be looked by everyone, she will be scared to fight for what her want, but this will let her unhappy and will miss chances to be successful. So just be brave and fight for what you want and you can be very strong.
 
This book also told me a lot about America’s culture and differences between Taiwan schools and American schools. For example, in America students have their own locker and they can put their things in the locker also you can decorate it just like your own room. In Taiwan we don’t have to go to the others classroom we just have to be in one same classroom and teachers will come to teach us.
  
What attracted me to this book is the book’s cover because the cover is very interesting author write 「This diary belongs to: Nikki J. Maxwell (the main character), if found, please return to me for reward!」 and in the book the text is in handwritten font it’s just like a real diary it also can tell that author care about this book and care about some details.
 
This book is telling about a girl call Nikki J. Maxwell. She goes to a new school and in the new school there is a popular girl she is fashion and rich many people like her and wanted to be her friend but for some reason the girl don’t like Nikki so she started to bully Nikki and exclude her. Unfortunately, they like the same guy and have same strengths then they start to fight to each other. Impressed me the most is Nikki found that there is two girls also don’t like the popular girl because of hers over confidence they become very good friends. I like this paragraph is because this part leads to a happy ending.
  
If I’m Nikki I will not just being bullied. I will speak up bravely and fight for what I want because I didn’t do anything wrong I’m just being me. Don’t change yourself to suit others .Be yourself and someone will appreciate you.
 
While I'm reading this book I think of many social news events. There is a lot of news talking about school bully some choose to end their own life they think they don’t need to be in this world some get sick and never smile again. These people have damage someone’s life. In recent years, people have paid more and more attention to this issue everyone start to tell students bully is not good but I think this problem is still exist. We should tell the one who are being bully to be brave not to tell people stop bullying because people who bully others won’t just stop they know bully is not a good behavior but they will still doing this. Actually most people who bully others was been bullied or there’s family isn’t treating they well so they want to vent their own emotions.
